I remember Jackie's vocal support for Dave and I running the Windmill half marathon October 1984, her consistent warm welcome Friday nights for Roger and I when living in Hartford ahead of another Gricing weekend with Dave and Mike (also much missed). The Barker holiday at my place in the Isle of Man (Belinda tells me it was a rough crossing). That holiday together with the Barkers in France when Will was just a baby (now 23). Jackie always the same. Will always remember that voice and that smile.

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
